TERENCE DAW

Film Director, Writer

From a background of editing and promotions / trailer producing at ITV, Terence has directed a wide range of UK network TV drama, including ThiefTakers, The Bill, Brookside, Heartbeat and Emmerdale. Also single drama Being is Believing and the feature-length thriller Emmerdale Revenge, distributed internationally by Granada Media.

Living in London and Los Angeles, Terence has written numerous feature film scripts and TV treatments. In 2008 he made his feature film debut as writer/director on the UK jungle-set horror Surviving Evil, starring Billy Zane. He is currently developing his second feature as writer/director, a UK thriller set in South-East Asia.

Also for broadcast network TV, Terence has directed Here & Now, a 26-part series of dance, arts and music for ITV, the Channel 4/PBS special Ravi Shankar in Concert, the 10 part children’s series Chips Comic for Channel 4, and film documentaries including Chinatown Liverpool, The Jah People, Wurlitzer in the House and the RTS nominated Mighty Hunter.

Award-winning Corporate and Advertising work has comprised scripting & directing credits for major clients including: Beechams, Roche, Volvo, Hilton Hotels and Citibank, and most recently Microchip.

Terence is currently developing TV and Feature Film projects
as director/writer through his UK production company
Audience Films Ltd. and is co-producing projects with
Capricorn Media Ltd.

MICK KELLY

Documentary-maker

A highly-skilled and experienced television producer/director, specialising in sport factual and factual entertainment content. As a trained journalist, Mick prides himself on sound editorial judgement and the ability to drive compelling narratives through his work. He has also developed online/IPTV formats, an area that is, of course, ripe for expansion, as well as exploring the potential of working with brands to make top-quality factual content for TV and online. In the rapidly changing world of media finance, he fully understands the need for today’s producers to develop effective business models to fit around their TV broadcast/online proposals.

Craig is enthusiastic about innovation in video, be this using specialised graphical techniques to make your points hit home, or implementing a variety of video technologies to get your message further.

A specialist in video for web, Craig loves using webcasting and other online technologies in combination to achieve greater results with your content. Craig has been working in collaboration with the Capricorn family for some years now and has completed some interesting & engaging work along the journey.

RICHARD KAUFMAN

Media Training


Richard Kaufman is part of Capricorn’s Media training team, having joined director Robin Bailey on sessions for the Professional Darts Corporation and with European Solheim Cup golfer Melissa Reid.

Richard is a sports broadcaster who can be heard covering football, golf and badminton around the world.

A former host on talkSPORT, Richard was originally the station’s golf commentator and then hosted the early afternoon and Drive-time shows.

Now he is a regular on Sky Sports, ESPN and Eurosport, as well a regular contributor for IMG Media – broadcasting at all the major golf events, Champions League and Premier League matches and has worked at the Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and the Olympics.
